Shreya Ghoshal, Neha Kakkar, Badshah, AR Rahman and other singers are mourning the demise of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
Lata Mangeshkar’s death is a big loss for the country. Referred to as Nightingale of India, Voice of the Millennium and Queen of Melody, the legendary singer didn’t only deliver melodious songs in her career spanning seven decades, but also inspired millions of people. The nation is mourning today. Bollywood celebs have posted emotional messages in her memory. Popular singers like Neha Kakkar, Badshah etc, who are ruling the Hindi music industry today, have also paid their tribute to the late singer on social media.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, the popular rapper and singer wrote on Twitter, “There will be always only one Nightingale of India #LataMangeshkar ! Rest in Peace Lata Ji.”

Devastated by the news, singer Shreya Ghoshal wrote in a tweet, “Feeling numb. Devastated. Yesterday was Saraswati Puja & today Ma took her blessed one with her. Somehow it feels that even the birds, trees & wind are silent today. Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna #LataMangeshkar ji your divine voice will echo till eternity. Rest in peace. Om Shanti.”

Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa, known for songs like ‘Tenu Suit Suit Karda’ and ‘Naach Meri Rani’ posted a picture of Lata ji and wrote, “Rest in peace Lata Didi. Legendary artist.”

Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 due to multiple organ failure after battling Covid and pneumonia for a month.
