There is no better place than our kitchen to boost our immunity. Indian kitchens are a storehouse of home remedies and simple foods that can keep us strong and healthy.

Cinnamon and honey are two powerful ingredients that offer plenty of health benefits. Here is a simple cinnamon-honey tea to boost immunity, fight cold and flu and improve your overall health.
Both honey and cinnamon are loaded with healing properties. Honey has antioxidants and enzymes that help one heal from within. It also has antibacterial properties that ward off infections and damaging cells from the body. Likewise, cinnamon has been widely used to fight inflammation and repair the body.

Together, cinnamon and honey make for a great combination to fight allergies and heal wounds in the body. When consumed together, honey and cinnamon can also cure constipation. Thus, it’s a wonderful way to protect the body from infections and maintain good health.
You need some simple ingredients to make this healthy tea.

You will need – 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 cup of water.
Bring the water to boil and add cinnamon powder to it and mix well. Let the water simmer for 2-3 minutes. Put the mixture in a cup, mix honey and sip it.

You can drink this concoction daily for good health and immunity.
