NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) have become incredibly close in EastEnders, but could a number of interesting developments next week point to them being more than just friends?
Honey was determined to assist Suki in the wake of Jags’ (Amar Adatia) death, and she ultimately succeeded in doing so.
The duo have become very good friends in the weeks that followed, as they attended art classes together.
Next week, Suki invites Honey over for dinner, and the two evidently enjoy one another’s company. That is, until Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) interrupts, leaving Suki fuming with jealousy!
The matriarch eventually softens when she discovers that Ash failed her performance review, and feeling guilty over having threatened her manager, she offers to expand her empire by purchasing a property to turn it into a GP surgery so that Ash can work there.
Ash is angered by her mum’s proposal, but Honey soon has a word with her, making her see things in a whole new light.
Honey, meanwhile, gets all dressed to the nines for the Pride of Walford Awards, as does Suki, who Honey invited as her plus one.
What transpires next remains to be seen, but could there be more than friendship on the cards for this exciting new partnership?
We know that Suki is beginning to think the world of Honey, who managed to do the impossible and see through her hardened facade, but are these feelings more than friendship?
If so could an affair be on the cards?
