We all know salmon is one of the healthiest foods we can add to our diets, but it tends to pricey so many Australian families aren't able to enjoy it as often as they'd like.
Salmon fans are in for a treat this week, however, with fresh skin-on Tasmanian salmon selling for just $10.99 at Aldi as part of the supermarket's 'Super Savers' range.
Salmon is part of the popular Mediterranean diet, which some say offers health benefits other diets cannot due to the inclusion of so-called 'healthy oils' contained in foods like fish and olive oil.

Also on sale at Aldi this week are lamb rump roast at $22.99 per kilo and Ingham chicken drumstick fillets at $5.99 a kilo.

At Coles, you can pick up Australian lamb leg roast for $13.50 per kilo.

Woolies has discounted boneless Chicken Kiev varieties selling for $12.14 per kilo, which makes for an affordable and delicious dinner.
